AJS Decorating was formed in 2005 by long-term colleagues John Sheppard and Tony Shepherd, who each has over 20 years experience in the trade.

Both directors hold Advanced City and Guilds qualifications and we demand from our workforce the same care and commitment that has served us well over the years.

We have strived to establish AJS as a painting and decorating company that is synonymous with professionalism, quality and overall customer satisfaction whether it will be the commercial or residential sector.

We specialize in all aspects of external and internal decorating from residential (eg. small rooms) to Commercial (eg. office blocks, shops, restaurants) and have many repeat customers from householders to blue-chip companies (see gallery).

All work is carried out by ourselves and carries a 2-year guarantee. All building works/repairs are carried out by us prior to decoration (eg. rotten cills, repointing, re-glazing, re-plastering). We can operate out of hours to suit the customer’s needs.

We are also a Trust Mark registered contractor which is a scheme supported by Government, building industry and consumer protection groups to allow people find reliable trustworthy tradesmen.

In November 2008 AJS Decorating has also had employees certified in carrying out the Repair Care International “1 4 16 Wood Repairing System”.
